Across Latin America, educational institutions are training children, youth, and adults in a critical skill for a globalized world: English.
Our Teacher-in-Residence (TIR) grants allow for Partners chapters to coordinate exchanges of English teachers to strengthen technical capacity and share pedagogical methodologies with their peers. TIR grants fund international travel for trips that include at least 30 days of English teaching activities at a binational center in Latin America. Teachers-in -Residence for 30 days or longer may request $400 to defray costs of the host chapter. Funds are sent to the hosting chapter. There are a limited number of these additional funds. This program is funded by the U.S. Department of State.
